Don't Let The Noise Get To You
Bruce Von Stiers
What can you do when a sound or a noise starts to get the better of you? That's the question that the short horror film Raindrops asks.
There is a man sitting in his home office. He's right in the middle of reading a book of writings by Frank Kafka. But, all of a sudden, a noise begins to bother him. It is the sound of raindrops hitting a window sill.
Taking the normal measures to reduce the sound doesn't seem to work. So a situation that should be no more than a nuisance causes the man to take an extreme measure. And then another to make the sound disappear.
Phil Brocklehurst wrote, directed and starred in this film. He has a bunch of short films under his belt, many of which are psychological dramas or horror films.
Raindrops is a strange psychological horror film that shows how a phobia about noises can lead to disastrous consequences.
